  • The main living and dining zone is a true focal point — open, cohesive, and designed for both everyday living and entertaining. When approaching the staging of this space, our priority was to work with — not against — the strong architectural language already in place. With timber playing such a dominant role, we were intentional about avoiding additional warm tones that could overwhelm or compete with the natural palette.

    Instead, we introduced a curated selection of sharp, modern furniture and accents to create contrast and clarity within the space. These pieces were chosen not only for their clean lines and contemporary feel, but for their ability to anchor the room and define each zone without adding visual heaviness. Layered with subtle textures and restrained styling, the result is a space that feels elevated, balanced, and visually refined — allowing the architecture and materiality of the home to remain the hero.

For the bedrooms, our approach was intentionally understated, allowing the natural setting to take centre stage. We selected bed bases and seating that complemented the home’s timber interior, echoing its warmth without overpowering it. By keeping the palette refined and minimal, the eye is naturally drawn outward — letting the lush greenery beyond the windows become the true focal point, and creating spaces that feel calm, balanced, and connected to their surroundings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Curious about home staging? Let’s break it down.

  • No. At Open Home Ready we understand that all homes are individual - we will create a truly exclusive look that suits the house and desired target marke

  • Our staging packages cover 4 weeks, with the option to extend weekly if needed.

  • The cost of the home staging must be paid before or on the day of installation, you can pay by credit card, bank transfer or Klarna

  • Our quote includes a 4 week period of prop and staging hire, thereafter prop and furniture hire is charged out on a week to week basis.

  • After the initial consultation at the property, and acceptance of our quote we can home stage your house usually within 1 week. This may vary in our busy seasons

  • No! We would advise you to leave us to it. Once we have completed your stage will invite you to come back for the grand unveiling!

  • We don’t move or store your furniture ourselves, however we can highly recommend Man & a Van for any removal needs.

  • The team will arrive either in a morning, midday or afternoon slot. Staging will typically take 1-3 hours - depending on the size of the home. For safety, we ask clients to duck out during setup.

  • Whoo Hoo! However please note there is no refund, as the cost primarily reflects the styling service rather than the hire term. We’ll schedule collection as soon as the contract goes unconditional

  • Staging isn’t about personal style. It’s about maximising buyer appeal and helping your home stand out.

    However, we always consider the home’s architecture and the target market when selecting furniture.

In response, she founded Open Home Ready to help homeowners and agents present properties at their absolute best. She continues to work behind the scenes, bringing her styling expertise and market insight to every project, while also supporting her interior styling clients.

Mia brings both creativity and strategy to every project. Growing up immersed in Ana’s intrinsic style and thoughtful approach to living, a natural eye for interiors has always come second nature to her.

With years of real estate photography experience at Exposure Photography, Mia styles each home with the camera in mind — carefully considering angles, lighting, and focal points to maximise impact and ensure every space presents beautifully online and in person.
